Working / Labor Conditions
Jomo International Holding is committed to a business that reflects her own values. Since we have expanded our working area to other countries and cultures, we carefully choose our business partners in a way that meet our own values and standards. As social responsibility is one of our main principles, we demand from our business partners to sign a contract in which they declare that they respect their employees and comply with the requirements which are set-up by the local authorities and the ILO (International Labour Organization) regard to:
- Child-labour (strictly forbidden, preferably submitted to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child dated 20/11/1989)
- Wages and Surcharges
- Working-hours
- Forced labor / Labor in prison
- Discrimination
- Disciplinary practices
Our partners must obviously provides a safe and healthy workplace for their employees. Besides, all suppliers has to sign our "letter of agreement" . This "letter of agreement" concerns environmental legislation and regulations on prohibited chemicals and paint materials, and social issues.
